Vacuum fryers typically
operate inside an external
vacuum chamber, requiring excessive floor space
and regular removal for
cleaning and maintenance.
The Unitized Vacuum Fryer
(UVF), however, creates its
own vacuum internally and requires no external chamber. Operating at 10%
or less of normal atmospheric pressure, the unit fries potatoes, apples, yams
and other high-sugar products without browning. Frying at under 248°F, it
can also be used to prevent acrylamide formation.

Combustible Gas Detector features
a three-second T90 response time
to the presence of combustible hydrocarbon-based gases, which allows plant
operators to respond quickly to gas leaks and
avoid potential accidents. The unit features rapid fail-to-safe continuous gas and vapor monitoring within the
lower explosive limit (LEL). It reliably alerts plant employees
to gas leaks and warns them to shut down processes in affected areas.
It responds within three seconds to gas leaks even with a splash guard
installed to protect it from rain and other environmental conditions, which
most industrial point IR gas detection applications require. The unit monitors
hydrocarbon-based gases including methane, propane, ethane, ethylene,
butane, hexane, pentane and benzene and features a self-diagnostic design
to prevent false alarms and process shutdowns. It also monitors conditions
such as supply voltage and optical path integrity.
