R50G Glass X-Ray Inspection System
The R50G glass X-Ray inspection system can detect a wide
range of dense contaminants within products packaged in
glass containers, including metal, mineral stone, calcified
bone, high density plastic and rubber compounds and even
glass within glass, irrespective of shape, size or location. The
R50G X-ray system was designed specifically to provide complete glass container inspection by reducing blind spots in the
base, sidewalls and neck of the container. Traditionally, the base of glass jars has presented a challenge for X-ray inspection systems,
as the thicker glass in the base absorbs more x-rays than the thinner walls, masking foreign bodies. The R50G system incorporates
an angled X-ray beam that shoots through the base, maximizing detection sensitivity. The R50G system allows containers to run while
touching, without gaps, enabling high throughputs of up to 1,200 containers per minute.

1-inch polyester fabric for enhanced
temperature separation. The
increased R-value of the Fas Trax FR
teams up with the quickest cycle
times in the industry – 100 inches
per second – to minimize air intrusion and maximize productivity.
These high operating speeds also
decrease the likelihood of forklift
collisions. However, if bumped or
impacted, a Fas Trax door can eas-
